Construct a 3 tab Matchbook foldable from half a sheet of A4 paper (A5). Along a long edge fold up a short tab (about 2 cm) and then fold the remaining paper in half so it can tuck inside the tab.
Divide into 3 equal sections, fold and cut tabs to the middle fold. (see picture) Further instructions can be found at: How to Make a Matchbook (modify for a 3-split matchbook)
On the bottom tab write the Topic heading ‘NEWTON’S 3 LAWS OF MOTION’, and on each of the three Tabs, write FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD LAW.
Research Newton’s Laws and write a definition of each Law inside the Tab. The following internet resources will be helpful. Notice there are many different ways of describing Newton’s Laws. You might like to discuss this with your teacher and class.
